1. Oral Presentation Guidelines

  • - Computers in the session rooms are being supplied with Windows 7 and MS Offi¬ce 2010 & 2013. Microsoft Power Point 2010 or 2013 is recommended for your presentation file(s).
  • - It is NOT allowed to use your own laptop (Windows or MAC/Apple) at the session rooms for technical risk and time delay. You may supply your own laptop computer as a back-up. If it is necessary to use your own laptop, please contact the secretariat by November 30 (Wed), 2016.
  • - The SEATS for speakers will be reserved on the Left in the FRONT ROW facing the podium and it will be marked as “NEXT SPEAKER”.
  • - Please be sure to meet the presentation time limit in order to be on schedule.

3. Preview Room

  • - Location: Ida 1 (B1), Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel
  • - Opening Hours:
    Date Time
    December 8 (Thu) 15:00-18:00
    December 9 (Fri) ~ 11 (Sun) 08:00-18:00
  • - Please bring your presentation material(s) to the Preview Room and upload it to one of the prepared laptop at least 3 hours before the start of your session. Our staff will help you upload the presentation material(s).
  • - It is speakers’ responsibility to check and upload the final copy of your presentation at the Preview Room.
  • - Be sure to bring your file(s) on a CD or a USB Memory Stick. In case of combining video files with the MS Office Power Point, we kindly recommend to check your presentation file at least 5 hours before your presentation.

4. Invited Speaker Lounge (Preview Room for Invited Speakers)

  • - Location: Ida 2 (B1), Sheraton Grande Walkerhill Hotel
  • - Opening Hours: Same as the above
  • - All invited speakers for ACS & AOSLC 2016 will receive a ribbon on your name badge such as Plenary Speaker, Invited Speaker etc., which will give you access to the Invited Speaker Lounge. Services in the lounge include a several kinds of snacks and coffee & tea and a comfortable lounge atmosphere for private faculty networking and computers, internet & printer access.
  • - Also, the Invited Speaker Lounge has a same function as the Preview Room. So, please be sure to read carefully through the Preview Room guidelines above and follow the instructions.

1. What is an E-Poster?

An E-poster is an electronic version of the traditional boards and is displayed on monitor screens. The E-poster may include text, figures and images, as well as video to improve documentation of your e-poster. There will not be a personal presentation at the E-poster station.

2. How to Prepare an E-poster

Computer OS: Windows 7 and MS Office 2010 & 2013
PPT File Format: PPT, PPTX, PPSX, PDF
PPT Slide Limit: Max. 10 Slides (landscape orientation)
Slide Aspect Ratio: 4:3 (16:9 is not suitable for the e-poster display. Change the size of your slides)
Moving File Format: WMV (Strongly recommended), AVI, MPEG
Moving File Limit: 1 Video file(embedded in PPT file)
File Size Limit: 30MB each

3. How to Upload E-poster Materials

  • Go to http://www.webhard.net/
  • Log in with ID and PW (ID: ACS2016 / PW: 1234)
  • Upload your file according to your Session Category & Topic.
    * Please refer to the “Session Category & Topic” mentioned at the above No. 1 in the Guideline.
  • PPT/Moving File name: “Abstract No._First Name Last Name” (ex. “A-001_Sunny Kim”)
  • PPT and moving file MUST be uploaded in ONE folder.
  • File Submission Deadline: November 25 (Fri), 2016

4. Modification

  • File Modification Deadline: November 25 (Fri), 2016
  • The modified files MUST be uploaded by renaming as below;
    * “Abstract No._First Name Last Name_Rev” (ex. “A001_Sunny Kim_Rev”)

5. E-Poster Station
