The scientific committee welcomes your submission of abstracts for the ACS 2016 in conjunction with the AOSLC 2016. All accepted abstracts will be presented in the “Free Paper Sessions” or “E-Poster” Station during the meeting.

All abstracts MUST be submitted through the ACS 2016 official website at www.acs2016seoul.com. Abstract will be only accepted through the official conference website. Fax or Email submission is NOT available.

Submission Guidelines

Submission Deadline & Modification
* The deadline for abstract submission is August 21 (Sun), 2016. No abstracts will be accepted after this date. Abstract data CANNOT be altered after the online abstract submission system has closed after August 21 (Sun), 2016.
Language
Abstracts MUST be prepared in English.
Format

Abstract title must be concise and indicative of the content of the abstract. Avoid using abbreviations in the title.

Abstract may NOT exceed 250 words, and must include four areas:

  • Aim: A brief statement on the purpose of the study and the current state of research in the field.
  • Methods: The methods of study or experimental approach must be defined briefly.
  • Results: A summary of the study results, including sufficient details to support those conclusions.
  • Conclusion: A statement describing the significance of the work and its implications for further research.
Note
  • ∙ Abstracts previously submitted for publication or submitted, accepted or presented at other fields based on Cornea and/or medical meetings will not be accepted.
  • ∙ All submitters must select the submission category for your abstract.
  • ∙ The type of presentation (Oral/E-Poster/Either) choice selected during the submission process is a request only. However, the final presentation type for each paper will be decided by the Scientific Committee’s evaluation.
  • ∙ First (Presenting) author is expected to register and pay the full registration fee and attend the conference and make presentation if selected for free paper.
  • ∙ Please provide an accurate email address of the First (Presenting) author. First (Presenting) author will receive all correspondence concerning the submission and is responsible for informing the other authors of the status of the submission.
  • ∙ Should the First (Presenting) author’s e-mail address change after the submission deadline, please notify the conference secretariat at paper@acs2016seoul.com update this information.
  • ∙ All names and affiliations of Co-Authors as you would like them to appear in any publication must be in full for each of the co-authors. Initials are only accepted for middle names if any.
  • ∙ Define each abbreviation the first time it is used in the abstract by placing what it stands for in parentheses.
  • ∙ Abstracts should be proofread prior to submission, as in many cases they are published as submitted.
  • ∙ Successfully submitted abstracts will be acknowledged including an abstract reference number, which should be quoted in all future correspondence.
  • ∙ The Asia Cornea Society holds the copyright to all the materials presented at the conference and may reproduce the materials in any form for distribution.
